Jerry taylor

Taylor was a multi-award winning country music songwriter, publisher, artist, and record producer. He has been a staff writer for Tammy Wynette’s “First Lady Songs”, B.M.G. Music and Sony/ATV Music in Nashville. He has had over 150 Songs recorded by such legends as Tammy Wynette, George Jones, B.J. Thomas, Reba McEntire, Johnny Cash, Johnny Rodriquez, Mickey Gilley, Highway 101, Debbie Boone, George Strait, Kenny Chesney, and a host of others.

His songwriting led to a recording contract on CBS Records as a member of the trio “Nightstreets” which was named Billboard Magazine’s “New Group of the Year” 1980-1981.

He then turned his talents to producing records for such artists as Elton John, Tanya Tucker, K.T. Oslin, Lorrie Morgan, and Willie Nelson.
